It’s never a bad idea to do a Christmas Find Someone Who activity just before the break. You’ve often got a class or two where attendance is low, you’ve just finished an exam or you simply want to have a bit of fun. Find Someone Who is a great activity because it naturally includes a variety of interaction patterns between the teacher and students and between students among themselves. To use this one in class, first you have to complete the sentences with one word in Cambridge Use of English Part 2 open cloze style for B2 or C1 levels.
Christmas activities are always a fun way to end the term. If you’re teaching an exam class, there’s no need to avoid doing some fun Christmas games or using a Christmas lesson plan. We’ve got a few Christmas materials right here on Breakout English all with an exam twist including this Christmas Find Someone Who speaking activity. That means you get to give a different class while still keeping some focus on the exam. Have fun and happy holidays!
